Prison & Jail Ministry

CWF has ministered in Oregon State Department of Correction Facilities for over 25 years.

Our purpose is to present the message of the New Birth in a vibrant atmosphere of worship, praise and the presence of the Lord. Many of those participants at our services comment upon the unique and dynamic atmosphere. 

The presence of the Lord Jesus is evident and much prayer and worship is experienced. We have a qualified group of volunteers that minister faithfully in the following facilities:

Oregon State Correctional Institution (OSCI)
Oregon State Penitentary (OSP)
Oregon State Penitentary Minimum (OSPM)
Santiam Correctional Institution (SCI)
Marion Country Correctional Facility (MCCF), Alcohol and Chemical Treament Series (ACTS)

Marion County Correctional Facility (MCCF), Work Release Center

In addition to these ministries, we work with released inmates through parole and probation and adhere to a support and accountability model.

We encourage those with a commitment to Jesus Christ to attend services regularly and participate in a personal endeavor to prepare themselves with integrity and honesty. Many souls have been baptized in Name of Jesus Christ and have received His wonderful Spirit.
