Ladies Ministry

This is a vibrant and active ministry within CWF. Besides ministering to one another, the ladies often take part in helping many other ministries. Come join the fun...and grow with God too!!

Ladies Ministry offers much to assist women in their walk with God. This year we started off with a New Year’s party that we would normally have around Christmas.

Between the months of April thru June, CWF Ladies work together on different fundraisers for Mother’s Memorial. This is an offering that supports many different ministries of the UPCI including Home Missions and Foreign missions. Mothers Memorial continues to be a blessing to the thousands of recipients who are in great need of love, joy, compassion, and truth! Our highlight and grand finale is the annual Cake Auction on Mother’s Day. This has been a tremendous blessing in supporting Mother’s Memorial.

Every 2nd Sunday of the month is Ladies Service at 6:00 pm. This is a focused devotional for all ladies who desire a closer relationship with God. Most of our services are taught by Pastor James W. Dillon and will inspire you to draw closer to God and to build strong families. After the Ladies Service we have a time of refreshments and fellowship.

CWF has Daughters of Zion Prayer Meeting at 7:00 pm the first Monday of every month. Daughters of Zion is made up of women worldwide, who meet on the first Monday of each month to pray focused prayer for the children of the local church community.

In the fall, the Oregon District UPC features the West Coast Women’s Conference. All ladies of CWF are encouraged to attend. We can share the cost of rooms depending on how many plan to attend. This is very inspirational as there are great speakers planned. It is also a time of much fun and fellowship. More details to come...

Throughout the year CWF ladies pull together their cooking and baking talents as we do many potlucks, Ladies Tea in May, annual summer picnic, and banquet servings for special ministers meetings.

Our fulfillment is not only in fellowship with each other but unto the LORD. We strive to be true Christians. We share the same goal and that is to please the LORD and to make heaven our home.
